01 How to Request Deletion
Send an email from your registered address
Use the same email address you signed up with. This is how we verify your identity before processing the request.
Email us at the address below
Send your request to ranc.mobileappdev@gmail.com with the subject line: Delete My Account
Include your account details in the message
In the body of the email, include your full name and the email address linked to your BudgetCircle account. No other information is needed.
We confirm and process within 30 days
You will receive a confirmation email when your data has been fully deleted. The process takes up to 30 days from the date we receive your request.

02 What Gets Deleted
Upon successful processing of your deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

| All personal expenses you created | ✕ Deleted |
| All budgets you created | ✕ Deleted |
| All assets you tracked | ✕ Deleted |
| Groups you created (with no other members) | ✕ Deleted |
| Your Firebase Authentication record | ✕ Deleted |
| Expenses you added to shared groups | ⚠ May be retained |
| Groups with remaining active members | ⚠ May be retained |
03 After Deletion
- You will be immediately signed out of all devices.
- You will no longer be able to log in with your previous credentials.
- Any data cached on your device (offline storage) will become inaccessible once the app is reinstalled or the cache is cleared.
- The deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot restore your account or data after processing.
- If you wish to use BudgetCircle again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
04 Processing Timeline
We aim to process all deletion requests as quickly as possible. Here is what to expect:
- Within 2 business days: We acknowledge your request by email.
- Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted from our servers and Firebase infrastructure.
- Confirmation email: We send you a final confirmation once deletion is complete.
